A place full of history and wonder
Chapter 1: Built in 2007, the Manali was born out of the shared passion for high-altitude destinations, especially the Himalayas, of a man of the mountains and a businessman. Between its mountain roots and invitation to make a journey, the five-star hotel plays with contrasts: from the outside, it is a traditional Savoyard chalet, while its interior reveals an Indian influence of temples and monasteries in shades of saffron. A true touch of India, with the elephant as its emblem.
Chapter 2: In January 2019, the Alpine Collection Group acquired the hotel, and after a complete interior refit, giving new life to this charming building while retaining its external architecture and emblem. Manali’s 36 hotel rooms were replaced by 18 luxury suites, each of which is an exceptional, uniquely decorated piece. The new Manali Lodge was inaugurated in December 2019.
